Following ongoing seismic strengthening work, the mall\u2019s aging foundation slabs required partial demolition and reconstruction \u2014 all while minimizing vibration, dust, and disruption to nearby businesses.<br><br>To meet this challenge, McIntosh Commercial Construction Ltd partnered with Intergroup, New Zealand\u2019s leading provider of infrastructure and industrial services, to execute a multi-stage hydrodemolition project powered by Aquajet\u2019s Aqua Cutter 710V robotic system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:17px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-project\">PROJECT<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table alignleft\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Location:<\/strong> <\/td><td>Merivale Mall, Christchurch &#8211; New Zealand.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Scope:<\/strong><\/td><td>Hydrodemolition and concrete slab replacement with full noise, <br>water, and structural monitoring.
