A new chapter begins at Aquajet’s headquarters in Vetlanda
Aquajet has officially inaugurated its new headquarters and production facility in Vetlanda, Sweden, marking an important milestone in the company’s continued growth and long-term commitment to hydrodemolition innovation.
On 20 May, employees, partners, owners, local representatives, members of the press and invited guests gathered to celebrate the opening of the new 4,000 m² facility at Stålvägen 7. The event also marked another important milestone — 10 years since Aquajet became part of Brokk AB, a partnership that has supported the company’s continued international growth and development.
Built for the future
The move to Vetlanda was driven by the need for more space and improved conditions for future growth. Aquajet’s previous facilities in Holsbybrunn had become too small for the expanding business, with limited office space, constrained production areas and logistics spread across several locations.
The new headquarters brings production, engineering, testing, spare parts handling and office operations together in one purpose-built facility. Indoor and outdoor development and testing areas, modern workspaces and expanded production capacity provide better conditions for collaboration, innovation and future recruitment.
The facility also features significantly increased storage capacity, including a high-bay warehouse with approximately 2,000 pallet spaces and capacity for more than 5,500 articles. Improved logistics and spare parts handling further strengthen Aquajet’s ability to support customers and partners around the world.
A vote of confidence
Aquajet is part of Brokk AB, which is owned by Lifco AB. The investment in the new headquarters was approved following a visit by Carl Bennet and the Lifco Board approximately two years earlier, reflecting strong confidence in Aquajet’s long-term development in Vetlanda.
During the inauguration, Aquajet CEO Roger Simonsson reflected on what the new facility represents for the company.
“This is not just a new building — it represents our ambition to continue developing, innovating, and taking the next step as a company.”

Nearly four decades of hydrodemolition innovation
Founded by Stefan and Marianne Hilmersson, Aquajet has spent nearly four decades developing hydrodemolition solutions for precise and sustainable concrete removal. Today, approximately 85 percent of the company’s sales are exported outside Sweden, supporting infrastructure repair projects around the world, including bridges, tunnels, dams and other concrete structures.
With the new headquarters now fully operational, Aquajet enters its next phase with expanded production capacity, improved product development and testing capabilities, and better conditions for continued growth in both Sweden and international markets.
