Aqua Rail System 3.0

The Aqua Rail System 3.0 is a fully configurable, multi-modular solution designed to enhance Hydrodemolition capabilities in complex environments. Built around three key components—Aqua Spine 3.0, Ergo Climber 3.0, and the Support System—it provides unmatched flexibility, scalability, and reusability for a wide range of applications.

More about the Aqua Rail System

With its modular design, the Aqua Rail System 3.0 can be reconfigured or expanded to meet new project demands, eliminating the need for entirely new setups and saving time and resources. Engineered for horizontal, vertical, and overhead applications, it handles reaction forces between 1,000 – 3,000N, depending on the setup. The system allows for fast and easy assembly, ensuring efficient operation across various surfaces, including walls, roofs, bridges, tunnels, and curved structures. Fully compatible with Aqua Cutter 3.0 models, the Ergo Controller, Power Heads, and other attachments, it delivers a versatile, scalable solution for both linear and circular Hydrodemolition projects.

Features

  • Aqua Spine 3.0

The Aqua Spine rail is lightweight and easy to handle, weighing just 39 kg (86 lbs) per 2-meter ection. Its modular design allows for infinitely long rail setups using traversable mounts and brackets. Assembly is simple, requiring just one M20x170 screw per section, and its puzzle-like design ensures strong and seamless connections.

  • Ergo Climbers 3.0

When using the Ergo Climbers, they easily attach to various scaffolding setups. The system features traversable joints, allowing the climbers to move smoothly over both standard and curved scaffolding pipes without obstruction. This design enables the construction of infinitely long frames,
ensuring maximum flexibility. All components are specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with standard scaffolding pipes for a reliable and efficient setup.

  • Support system Light

Aquajet’s new Support System is designed to deliver even more flexibility and stability when working with the Aqua Spine 3.0 or the Ergo, offering a customizable solution that adapts to the specific demands of each job.

    • Handles reaction forces up to 1000N.
    • Designed with standard scaffolding pipes.
    • Comes in a version that includes a tilt function with positioning gear.
    • Support legs, brackets and joints that are easily adjustable in both height and angle.
    • Can be assembled to allow the Aqua Spine to rotate 360 degrees (manually or hydraulically).
    • Interchangeable CC80 hole pattern and M16 screws.
    • All Support systems can be combined depending on setup.
  • Support system Heavy

The Support System Heavy features parts that can handle greater reaction force.

    • Handles reaction forces up to 3000N.
  • Support system Scaffolding

The new Support System for scaffolding setups enables the construction of infinitely long frames using traversable mounts, allowing the Ergo Climber 3.0 to pass over without obstruction. All components are designed to work seamlessly with standard scaffolding pipes.

    • Traversable mounts.
    • Internal and external clamp attachment, external multi bracket CC 80 mm.
    • Possibility to build an infinitely long frame.
    • Works with linear, curved and circular pipes.
  • Reaction forces

The system can handle different reaction forces, varying between 1000 – 3000 N, depending on the chosen robot or rail system configuration. Each setup ensures optimal performance based on project requirements and support system selection

  • Compatiblity

The Aqua Rail System 3.0 is highly flexible and can be configured to suit different projects.

    1. Power the system with a Power Control Unit (Aqua Cutter 3.0 models or Ergo Controller.)
    2. Choose a rail system: Aqua Spine 3.0 or Ergo Climber 3.0.
    3. Select a Power Head based on the rail system, such as the Infinity Power Head.
    4. Support systems (Heavy, Light, or Scaffolding) can be combined as needed.

Setups

  • Flat surface setup – Heavy

A flat surface setup with the heavy version of the Support System. This setup handles greater reaction forces (up to 3000N) with ease, perfect for setups with the Aqua Cutter 750V Power Head. This versatile system can be easily mounted on horizontal, vertical, or overhead surfaces, ensuring stability and efficiency in various applications.

  • Flat surface setup – Scaffolding

Support System Scaffolding with the Ergo Climber 3.0 is designed to withstand reaction forces of up to 1000N. Featuring traversable mounts, this setup allows Ergo Climbers to move seamlessly past the support legs, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.

  • Flat surface setup – Light

The new Aqua Spine 3.0 with the Light version of the Support system, perfect for work with the Ergo Power head and handles reaction forces up to 1000N. The support legs are light, adjustable and easily attached to any horizontal, vertical or overhead surface.

  • Different attachments

The Aqua Spine can be equipped with many different attachments in different combinations.

  • Circular setups

For circular hydrodemolition projects, such as pillars and tunnels, there are several setup options. You can use the Aqua Spine or Ergo Climbers as a base, combined with the Circular Power Head for pillars and columns or a Centralizer, which is specifically designed for work inside pipes and tunnels.

  • Pipe setup

A pipe setup with an Ergo Climber combination.

  • Curved beam setup

For curved or circular surfaces, such as pillars and tunnels, the Aqua Spine 3.0 with a curved roller beam makes usually challenging applications seamless.

  • Curved scaffolding setup

For curved or circular surfaces, curved scaffolding pipes provide additional flexibility, ensuring precise and efficient operation.

  • Pillar and tunnel setup

The combinations and applications are basically endless.
